Your phone is your landline
Here in the Philippines, we get a lot of odd stuff. One of our telco providers can do an unlimited calls per month program that is very attractive to the mass market for obvious reasons.
Someone has found out how to turn this service into a landline and even a VoIP device for the home.
If the device is running, anytime you get a call on your landline phone, it automatically forwards the call to your mobile phone as well (via the 6230). So now, both your landline and your mobile phones are ringing. You can choose to pick up the landline if you’re home, or take the call through your mobile phone if you’re on the road.
And since you’re riding on SUN’s unlimited calls service, you won’t be paying a cent for taking the call. What you now have is an extension phone that you can take with you anywhere!

I want to find out how to jack up the landline with my cellphone. How can I receive calls from the landline but receiving it in my cellphone?
If you know which companies does this, I’m very interested.
Or if you know any device that makes your landline portable, I’m also all ears.
Thanks!
