Wi-Fi cards for phones
What phones come with CF nowadays? Though I wouldn’t find much use for these new phones with CF (plus CF card with WiFi), the tech specs are great, especially with that claimed 3MP camera on board.
“Albeit that the card can only be used with Windows smart mobiles so far, the concept is however impressive and paves the way for future technologies. Sophia Systems (Japan) have come out with a CF (Compact Flash ) card to provide Wi-Fi access to handsets. Currently the manufacturer is providing only cards compatible with Windows CE Operating system but they hope to have cards compatible with the Windows Mobile OS out by the end of the year. Since the card also allows access into the PHS net, the customer can also look forward to effective cost savings.”
