Water powered mobile phone
It makes a really good spiel for a movie …
“And now, it has returned,
Powered by the very thing that destroys it …”
So the water-powered cellphone is alive and well in Japan. Well it isn’t exactly powered by the water per se, but water acts as one of the many active ingredients to make this mobile phone tick:
Tags: DoCoMo, Unwired OdditiesJapan’s DoCoMo and Aquafairy have jointly announced that they will develop a water based micro fuel cell for mobile phones. This agreement follows their successful development of a polymer electrolyte fuel cell (PEFC) that has proven effective in a prototype recharger.
