Verizon launches VZ Navigator
Tim Flight from the Flightnest sent me a scoop on Verizon’s latest GPS service offering. It turns out from focused group discussions that a lot of people are either getting lost or losing direction in their lives.
Lost people will have to sacrifice making a call to downloading a map for you can’t do both at the same time. So listen up men - there is an alternative to the male egotistic behavior of not asking for directions. Hehe.
Verizon Wireless has followed in the footsteps of Sprint, Nextel, and others in offering GPS Navigation services to their customers. The service, called VZ Navigator, will cost either $10 per month of $3 per day.
The service will only be available on one phone, the Motorola V325 which costs about $80. Other phones will follow later in 2006.

it says here http://www.cellphonestalk.com/cellphonereviews/motorola/v325/intro.html
“The motorola v325 can capture images only in JPG format (480 by 640 pixels). Other formats available are 240 by 320 pixels and 120 by 160 pixels. The file sizes of these formats are 50KB, 16KB and 3KB in respective order.”
isn’t gif the other world standard of images? why is not included with the v325
