The advent of mobile netcasting
Two notable products are pushing the strong winds for Sony Ericsson to sail forward. The niched Walkman phones for music have been prevalent on several price points bringing it down to all levels of consumers. The second products are the Cybershot branded cameras which are the “king of the hill” when it comes to camera phones.
With digital audio and video tightly integrated onto mobile phones, as seen in SE’s huge profits, what will the future hold for us? Mobile blogging? No, because that’s there already. How about mobile podnetcasting? Multimedia phones have so much memory built in, it is not surprising that stock HD space averages up to 512MB on phones without the expansion card! How about enhancing the microphone a bit more so that it can pick up clearer audio from the vicinity?
