Symbian Treo?
This just confirms my suspicion that Palm, a software company is turning into an OEM hardware steak joint. So bring in the beef!
It makes me want to rethink why Palm Inc. was successful - was it the hardware? The software? Or a synergy of both? In truth, it was both - about four years ago when users were not spoiled and lived the simple life. The Zen of Palm was tantamount. But as times change and simple users evolve into power users, they tend to want more power, more storage, more multitasking, and best of all - more multimedia! This was something Palm could not offer.
So a Symbian handheld? It really sounds stupid if you think about it: that’s a step back for Palm, unless their goal is to make waves in the Smartphone (as in Symbian operated) market.
