Sony Ericsson W810i

by Jayvee on April 20th, 2006

There’s a full review of the W810i over at Mobile Burn.

This is the easy part. The Sony Ericsson W810 is simply one fantastic handset. While I found the speakerphone to be weak, and was disappointed by the lack of stereo Bluetooth support, it simply does everything else exquisitely well. The internal antenna holds on to a signal well, the battery life is good, and the 2 megapixel auto-focus camera takes pictures as well as the Walkman app plays music.

Perhaps the best thing about the W810i is that SE finally replaced the joystick with the D-pad. This is a huge relief for long term users of SE phones because the joystick tends to become “off key” and unresponsive after a lot of wear and tear.
