Sony Ericsson W710i for Sporties

by Jayvee on January 28th, 2007

w710i.jpg The Sony Ericsson W710i forms the tip of SE’s “active” line for gym and work-out-aholics. The phone is small (88 x 48 x 24.5 mm) and lightweight (3.6 oz) with an added armband attachment bundled with the unit.

I guess bundling an armband with any Walkman phone will repackage the entire thing into active wear. But no biggie here. It’s all part of the marketing.

The W710i comes with 10MB of internal memory and is compatible with Memory Stick Micro expansion. It hails of the clamshell design and is compatible with GSM networks with EDGE capabilities.

According to a review on CNET, the W710i has all the bells and whistles of a typical SE phone from good design to a quality build. The bad stuff however has more to do with the not so great external display.
