Sony Ericsson W300 Walkman phone
So Sony Ericsson has announced another Walkman phone, dubbed as the W300. Dubbed as the W800i lite, this music phone has let go of all the luxurious features of the W800. It has downgraded the memory expansion to a bundled 256MB memory stick micro (M2 expandable to 1GB), changed the camera to a 640×480 VGA cam and sadly let go of the in-ear earphones and replaced it with high quality Sony earphones.
Aww shucks. Well depending on the price of the phone itself, I’d still try to grab a pair of in-ears because thats what makes these walkman phones different. Pfft. The primary reason why I was so attracted to the W-line of phones was due to the great package they offered. In the beginning, the price point of the phones were so high, but it made sense to do this because it included so many things - plus the in-ears.
Now however, I might be a bit cautious to get one unless I can get a good deal on some in-ears or I already have a pair. Because that’s what makes these Walkman phones so good. They’re just like any other SE phone. The difference is in the value added package of freebies.
