SDK + no multitasking = IM client for 3G iPhone

by Jayvee on April 5th, 2008

There’s a leak that supports the 3G iPhone in May of 2008. According to Kevin Rose in episode 142 of Diggnation, there is a reason why the iPhone SDK doesn’t allow you to do app switching.

iPhone in May with second camera?

The rumor is that Apple is working on a kick ass IM client for the iPhone, presumably — and most likely iChat and because of this, they do not want to have any competition when it comes to the IM client. This app further assumes that the new iPhone, which will be released in May will have a tiny front 3G camera inside the glass casing for video calls.
