Samsung SGH i300 review

by Jayvee on October 23rd, 2005

There’s a comprehensive review of the new Samsung SGH i300 WM Smartphone over at The Unwired. I’ve been waiting for a sneak peek into what this baby can do. This phone has been positioned to occupy a niche between the Palm OS Mobile Managers and cellphones that have a lot of internal memory such as the latest SE phones. The i300 will run on Windows Mobile 2003 for the Smartphone. Yes you heard it right - no new Smartphone 2005 for this one.

But still, with 3GB of space and a proprietary middle wheel similar to the iPod, my hands are more than curious to do some gadget foreplay:

It’s got a 3.5″ stereo adapter so it makes for a good MP3 player with 3GB of memory

The i300 looks like a sturdy piece of hardware, with miscellaneous buttons aligned on the sides of the phone to enable “one-press” actions without cluttering the real estate.

The scroll button adds a new flavor to the browsing experience. It makes scrolling through web pages easier as well as scrolling through media.
