MDA III’s successor is good to go

Set to make a debut appearance in Berlin’s IFA Consumer Fair, the successor to the MDA III will be revealed to the press following stagnant rumors about the new convergence phone’s features. Manufactured by HTC (the same guys who made the XDA I, II and a bunch of HP iPAQ designs), the 240×320 screen device will feature a quad-band network, wireless 802.11 B support, a 1.3MP camera and an applet that allows you to make instant coffee.
Okay I was just kidding about the coffee bit. But wouldn’t that be a cool JAVA applet? (hehe that was corny). The successor to the MDA III still has no official name as of late.
Slightly larger than T-Mobile’s MDA Compact communicator, the device will harbour a 240 x 320 pixel display with the ability to natively rotate the screen in a landscape orientation courtesy of its operating system, which will be Windows Mobile 5.0. This will let users easily align the screen with the thumbboard of the device, also this oriented in a landscape fashion.
What?! No security feature for address book snoopers? Hmm, better watch out Paris Hilton.
