  Hi ALL,

  This is my first NON-NOKIA Phone.

  I bought this phone just this afternoon from a Globe Hub in Galleria w/ 0% Interest for 12 months!!

  That’s only P500+ per MONTH!

  Aside from the missing headset (2gb SD would be useless w/o it), it’s a very intuitive phone especially I’ve always been a Nokia boy even from the 90’s.

  At 73grams, it’s ergonomically slim (unlike 6300 or ultra slim edition which could be a torment when typing long msgs over the keypad)

  This is truly a feature-rich phone for it’s price and Ergonomically SLIM SIZE!

  Great mobile phone! all no none sense features integrated. The internal memory is quite small, but this phone serves its purpose. Can be used as modem, need not worry about draining its power when used as modem because it is powered by the USB connection.

  If internet problem probably if not correctly configured it needed sometime and try restarting the phone. If browsing ang problem bka hindi wap site yun kase wap lang available.. you can download opera mini it works well with websites.. i bought this phone sa smart..

  ang mga katanungan nyo walang headset! basahin nyo manual.. optional tlga ang headset but new batch of this phone that sells out meron na daw headset kahit nakalagay sa manual na optional.. by august ang sabe nila and ng lg mag lalabas na daw ng accessories ng LG KU250 so wait lang kau…

  about the features of the phone… works well with windows 98 and xp havent tried sa vista and it works well you just need to configure it correctly.. parati nako nag iinternet.. download sa limewire, download sa kung saan saan..

  about its features wala kong masasabe.. super video call me.. video message at lahat lahat na
  im using 1GB and works well hindi lag… and my friend uses 2gb… CDRKING Micro SD works fine din is you ask..

  I’ve searched far and wide for a headset for this phone. Are there any headsets currently available in the market today? Already have 1 gig worth of mp3s but couldn’t quite enjoy everything due to the fact that I don’t have a headset yet. Can anyone check as to where to buy a headset? Desperately need one. I’m in the central Visayan region. Any possible stores in Cebu selling the KU250 headset?

  I bought my Lg Ku250 at Smart in Sta Lucia yesterday, it comes w/ a mini cd, USB Cable and a Headset but i’m having trouble installing my device driver coz their is an error in windows logo testing. Can anyone enlighted me of my dillema?

  I download games and apps from getjar.com :) So far they all work fine on my phone. What I would do is download them via my laptop then transfer via bluetooth.

  I envy those who got their LG KU 250s recently. I was one of the people who didn’t get it with a headset nor a CD. =(

  The LG_KU250 from SMART cost around 5,990 but their is a catch.. they sold me a 1 year insurance of txtprotect that cost 400php. They won’t sell me the fone w/o buying the stupid insurance. Is NTC or LG for that matter know about this set-up?

  @Cerio: I think that it is autofocus. What do you mean by limited video recording? I don’t really use the video recording capabilities yet. But I could try it out for you if you like :)

  for video recording, for example my K700i can record (video) depending on available memory. sa other phone kasi di ba kahit malaki ang memory, you can record only up to mga 20 seconds or shorter time… how about sa LG KU250? is it unlimited depends on memory capacity or limited to shorter time? thank you…

  Just bought mine yesterday and looks great. Kaya lang, the driver and software suite is made for windows and I’m on a Mac. Damn! Is there a workaround? I tried hooking it up to the mac using the usb cable but no dice. :(

  @RhomJhun I just converted my files to AAC using WinAmp. The AAC files were smaller than the mp3s I had. I copied the files to my phone via Bluetooth. You could try that using the software that you could download from the SMART site or if you’re on Linux, it’s actually easy to transfer the files :)

  @cerio Uy, sowee po. No autofocus. But it’s fairly ok. Pwede na. I think lampas 20 seconds naman yung video. Will post later. :)

  Tnx again 4 d info! dun sa wala cd installer puede nyo idownload yung software sa Smart website hanapin nyo lang yung Lg Ku250. W/ Regards dun sa video, hangang 1hr. max pro dipende sa memory mo kaya kapag nag-save ka ng videos punta ka muna memory manager tapos extended memory pra mas mahaba yung recording.

  i have juz recently purchaced this cell. I have a lot of trouble installing the pc suite on my pc, although i managed to install it after a couple of tries. My dismay now is that i can not install any games and other applications into the cell even with this pc suite! I have to download it via WAP. whats the use of the PC suite?

  I got my KU250 from Globe last Sat… i was super amaze.. super ang features.. especially the price.. where can you find a dual cam with 3g, with external mem card.. super gaan pa.. very rich features you cannot find with nokia.. my son was surprise it has POP, ROCK preset equalizers.,, I have two KU250 because I choose the PLAN 1200 LG KU250 PACKAGE 2, LIBRE ANG ONE SET KU250.. WITH HEADSETS PA.. my wife will bring the other KU250 in L.A. para pwede kami video call.. san ka pa P6K lang 3G na video call pa.. kaya tara na sa Globe SM Mega Mall

  help..ayaw ma-detect ng pc namen ung phone services ng ku250 ko..it can detect the phone and all, pro unsuccessful lagi ang pagdetect ng services..i can’t send files to and fro via bluetooth.

  chaka how can i install games via the usb wire? walang folder na Games and Apps sa Contents Manager e..

  Need some info. I just got a KU250 from my Smart subscription plan. I tried charging it kaso I couldn’t tell if its really working or not. The battery scroll bars are moving but the “low battery” signal keeps appearing.

  I just found lots of compatible LGKU250 games here: flipzo.blogspot.com, medyo annoying lang kasi if you installed lots of games, it takes time to open the games folder. I installed like 100 of games already.. =)

  kakakuha ko lang po nitong phone na ito from Globe at Digital Exchange Glorieta last night. Installed the LGPCSuite at home and it works. Sa mga nagkakaproblema installing the software, hintay lang po kayo kasi baka di pa tapos mag install eh nag close agad kayo nung window. regarding naman sa error na hindi daw pumasa ang software sa windows logo etc. just press continue anyway and it will continue the installing. i’ve try the camera (front and back) okay naman siya at 1.3 with 3G and i also try putting some mp3 on it at ayos naman ang sounds for me. well kung di pa ako nasiyahan sa sounds niya eh i think i should buy a component. :>

  As for the headset, mahirap talagang humanap noon. As in, ngpabili pa ako ng headset sa Singapore, and it cost me 1k PHP… but it is worth the money…

  As for games…I am not sure, ang problema kasi, hindi Windows ans OS ng KU250, so limited lang talag milalagay mong games, depsite the size of you external memory…

  And as for the memory card, (MICROSD), punta na lang kayo na compex, sa sm malls, 1GB is just 750 pesos, now, kung galante kayo, you can by the original sd’s for around 1840.00 something…

  everything about LG KU 250 is working fine for me EXCEPT that i can’t connect from the PC the phone via Bluetooth. I could send via bluetooth, the USB cable is fine… pero I can’t transfer mp3s from my pc to it.

  regarding sa vista, doesn’t it need a vista-compatible bluetooth?

  well, sabi nga, we can’t have it all… but this phone is an 8 out of 10.

  jehove….. it comes with all complete package including headset, cd driver, etc… excluding the micro sd memory card lang …. almost a month ko bago nakuha yung lgku250 sa smart SM lipa… for me, maganda itong cell na ito….. almost the same with nokia phone…..

  di compatible .sis at .jad files sa lg ku250 ung cellphone ung naglalagay ng jad sa cellphone na automatic sa others folder, may limit din sa games, kailangan din iconvert mp4,avi, mpeg at ibang video files to .3gp para gumana. gumagamit ako ng pc suite, kailangan install mismo sa control panel add programs para gumana, di ko lng alam kapag bluetooth, cguro kailanagan din ng cd para mainstall sa control panel SA CONTROL PANEL IINSTALL UNG PC SUITE KAPAG AYAW RESTART PC, KAPAG AYAW PA RIN TAWAG CUSTOMER SERVICE NG LG

  Nagana na po ung LG PC Suite ko po kaya lang laging failed to connect kapag kinokonek ko na po… wala siyang ma-detect pero nakalagay na po sa Mass Storage… na dedetect na po siya ng PC ko pero sa PC Suite lang di madetect… sayang naman po kasi eh.. please help po… pwde ko po bang mahinge no. nio para mas madali po ntn ma-solve ung problem ko po… thanks…

  Check with your internet provider. Usually they have to activate your cellphone so that it can connect ot the internet. if you can already connect to internet by your cellphone, then PC suite will also ask you for a profile which you have to create. Again ask you cell provider for the access name and number so that you can connect to the network. then you will be able to connect your pc.

  lagay mo sa data service at wag sa mass storage.. tapos punta ka sa network connection, create new connection, connect to the internet, set-up connection manually, connect using dial up modem, select mo yung LG phone mo, type ISP name(any name or use smart internet), type *99***1# sa phone #, type user name(smart) and pasword(smart) or leave blank.. then ok n yan pero sa network connection k pupunta pag mag internet ka..kahit wala LG PC suite OK lang..tapos yung cable mo dapat direct sa pc para laging detect.. sa akin kc dati nasa hub nakakabit laging di makita connection pero ngayon ok n..

  try mo baka mag ok.. sa akin oks naman pero wala me LG PC suite ininstall…

  Hi, where can I have the phone openlined? I need to use it for Internet via Smart.. Kaso it’s locked to Globe. Help naman!

  Also, would you have any idea where to find/download the driver for this for MAC OS X? For Windows lang kasi yun CD driver eh.

  Meron po akong LG KU 250. I heard pwede nga pong maging modem.But how? Meron po akong prepaid internet card (ISP Bonanza). Naiset ko na rin po un lg ku250 as data storage, pero may error pa rin pong lumalabas. paano po ba makokonek sa internet gamit un isp bonanza at hindi mababawasan ang load ng globe sim ko?

  if anybody that nids help on the usage of the lg ku250, i have all the answers, and i have fully made use of its versatility, from simple key problems to the most delicate(e.g. how to print pictures with clarity) I only have one problem, i dont have the headset everybody is clamoring for. But for the total usage instructions, i have it and its the best phone i ever had>>>

  Hi,

  Have a problem with my unit, every time I make a call or receive a call, the person on the other line hears me breaking up. This is going on since I got the unit last year, just taught it was the connection, but it happens on all of my calls. What needs to be done? Does it need Calibration? And how can we open line this? Are there free software on the web?

  ang galing ng lg ku250! now i can download my favorite mp3s, surf and watch u-tube videos, video call at kung anu-ano pa! at di lang yan, the price was really nice, di kagaya ng nokia, sulit talaga!

  hello sa inyo… san kaya ako makakabili NG earphone ng LGku250/… EARPHONE po hindi headse/blutooth headset…
  kasi binili ko ung phone sa smart nung june 2007 eh wala pa kasamang earphone un. mag-iisang taon na pero wala pa rin ako makita…
  Help naman…

  thanks for your instruction to shin, i followed the same, i did connect to the internet using my phone as modem, but the problem is i cannot surf. the bytes received is apparently low as compared to the bytes sent. any solution to this? thanks.
