LG DMB KES2500
Talk about convergence devices. We’ve seen camera meets phone, MP3 player meets phone, phone number meets kettle, and now LG is glad to unveil the phone that meets VCR recorder! The KES2500 (holy cow it sounds like an 80’s-endorsed product!) is the first phone available in the market that lets you record video to be played back at your leisure.

The phone supports a variety of sound enhancements such as virtual 5.1 and 3D audio (err so where are the 4 speakers and bass?). Images, I assume, will look crisp on the 2.2 inch QVGA screen. Thing is, I’m still trying to find a practical use for this. I mean, it is definitely more useful than my previous SMS kettle gadget, but I’ve always found it queer to be watching TV on such a small screen.
Now you can view the game’s overtime while doing your own overtime at work.

Man, we suck for phones over here in Canada. Every time I see one of these babies I look over at my stupid clunky PDA/Phone and wonder why the hell I live here.
