Jeremy Wright buys a RAZR
One of the benefits of being part of a blog network is the freeflow exchange of tricks, advice, and opinions. This Christmas, the talk usually has to do with buying advice. One such example was when Jeremy emailed me and Colbert asking whether or not he should get a spanking new Motorola RAZR.
The email exchange between Jeremy and I was actually a debate on whether he wanted to pair his device with a PDA, something which I would usually do. From experience, syncing Motorola PIM software with another device messes up the address fields (multiple entries for one contact turns to several entries like John Fax, John Cel, John Home, etc.)
So I gave a long explanation, quoting user feedback as to the horrors of syncing a Moto. Turns out, he just wanted to use the phone … to … umm make calls.
*cue sheepish grin*
I’ve only had it for a few hours, but so far so good. I’m not a huge gadget guy so I didn’t care that the camera was subpar. I got it for 50$ on a great plan, 6 months free calling, no activation fees and free long distance in Canada on weekends.
