Hello Helio
Helio has hit the US, bringing with it a lot of Asian technology like unlimited high speed streaming of multimedia and a bunch of other neat things like, OMG, MySpace. Helio isn’t just a content provider - it’s also the supplier of the Helio Hero ($275) and Kickflip ($250) units so once you buy into Helio, you really do buy into a new mobile lifestyle.
The services seem quite limited though - the introduction of RSS feeds but not being able to add your own sounds a bit off.
But for video and music junkies - well the Helio captures that niche pretty well because of the fixed fees, meaning you don’t have to get shocked at the end of the month when your bill comes.
