DVD Cinema at the palm of your hands
Give me a good reason why you’d wanna do this - rip your DVD’s and shove them into your Nokia Communicator. Creatively called DVDPlayer by the devs, the application allows you to view your favorite DVD’s in your Nokia 9300 or 9500. Some features include user defined bookmarking as well as full screen viewing at 65k colors.
If you want to play DVD movies, the first step is to rip the DVD into an AVI file using a DVD ripper program. Authors recommend the use of XMPEG (http://www.xmpeg.net), step-by-step tutorial included. Then you need to convert the AVI file into a DVDPlayer-supported format (converter is included).
