Accidentally rejecting calls

by Jayvee on July 10th, 2006

If there’s one phone feature I wish all phones had, it should be as anal as Windows asking a “Are you sure?” prompt for certain key functions. Today I accidentally ended 4 calls because I slid the N91’s slider shut while the call was ongoing. When the person called back, I was sending an SMS reply to someone else and when I pressed “c” to delete some text, bingo - that’s when the call came, ending it!

I wish phone UI would take these into account. I know some phones allow you to press any button to turn the backlight back on without any response to the keyboard. But we need to go further!
