Actually, this new phone from Pantech and Curitel makes use of the third type of infra red known as FI or far infra red waves. This phone will be marketed as a bacteria-killing phone because of the nature of far infrared.

Far infrared rays, a part of natural sunlight having the longest wavelength, are believed to have many beneficial effects on the human body such as retarding bacterial growth. Far infrared is also considered to be helpful for healing the skin, blood circulation, and skin cell revitalizing.

Think of the possibilities - it cleans your breath and kills mouth bacteria while you’re on the phone.
