3G predicts the weather

It turns out that the most accurate form of weather prediction methods has something to do with your mobile phone network.

Because weather seems to affect the signal strength of 3G networks, scientists have built a “3G mast” that is allowed to sway with the weather. The exposure to these conditions cause distortions to the signal pole which then allows scientists to convert that to weather data.
