3G phones will be cheaper next year?
Because of oversupply!!
It turns out, 3G phones are predicted to do not so well this Christmas, says the Gartner Group. So who’s fault is it? The telcos? Or the content providers? A few days ago I posted something about the 3G World Congress and Exhibit — which really didn’t stir much of the mobile airwaves. Yes, people in general are open to the whole 3G streaming multimedia thing but not everyone can afford it and the content may just seem too boring.
Why spend on something on a small screen when I can just get the bigger thing on the daily paper and the news when I get home? It’s all because of the rising oil prices!
So my point? Wait till next year if you want to buy that uber cool phone!
